Trepang is an indigenous word for the sea cucumbers harvested and traded by the Yolŋu and people of Arnhem Land. For over 400 years two cultures traded goods in Arnhem Land and across the sea. Trepang was Australia’s first food export. The Trepang Foods logo was designed by proud Wiradjuri Kamilaroi woman Katie Bugden. The logo represents the strong connection between the energy of the people and the Arafura Sea.
